How does it work? 

Once you’ve purchased your feedback, please send me up to three pieces of flash fiction of up to 1,000 words each (maximum 3,000 words total).

You can do this by replying to your confirmation email or by emailing me at fixioning@gmail.com

I will then give your stories my freshest eyeballing, and provide you with detailed feedback and editing suggestions, along with plenty of comments, questions, and thoughts on your writing. If I think of any particular lit mags or competitions that your work might be suitable for, I will also try to recommend these where I can!

Turnaround is usually 2 weeks but can be up to 4 if my workload is busy. If you’re aiming for a particular deadline and need your stories sooner, then please let me know when you purchase the feedback and I’ll do my best to get it back to you in plenty of time. 

Who am I and why should you get feedback from me?

I have been writing short/flash fiction for over 15 years and have over 70 pieces published in journals, anthologies and across the breadth of the internet. I have also won or placed in many flash competitions, including the Bath Flash Award, Flash 500, Molotov Cocktail, Flash Frog, The Oxford Prize, and others. My flash hybrid chapbook, The Woman’s Part, was published by Stanchion Books in 2023. I’ve also been devising and teaching flash fiction workshops and courses for a decade, and have been a professional editor for even longer. I’m always excited to see new work and help writers develop their craft!
